My Cane Corsos/Marino Molosser (Mastiff Hybrid) Hobby Breeding Program

Left to Right: Marino's Apolonia Vitelli, Marino's Luca Brasi, and Marinio's Luna Marino - Spring, 2023

We are owners of Cane Corsos and our own Marino Molosser, a Mastiff Hybrid . We are located in New Mexico. We are hobby breeders who breed dogs primarily for our own personal use.

Our Breeding Goals

Marino's Gertie G, aka "Big G" - Boerboel

Our overall goal when breeding Marino Molossers is to produce rugged dogs suitable for our family protection needs. My most important task is to create dogs that are absolutely 100% love-mushes towards their people, while being absolutely 100% distrusting and uninterested in strangers - I select genetics for the traditional protective temperament of mol0sser type dogs.

Physical Health

  1. Health and Hip check on all our breeding stock
  2. Producing healthy athletic dogs is our primary goal, above all else

Temperament

  1. Courageous and stable under pressure
  2. Natural sense of responsibility and duty
  3. Loyalty
  4. Naturally leery of strangers
  5. Solid defense drive
  6. Willing to grapple with man or beast
  7. Loving towards family and friends

Physical Features

Marino's Luca Brasi

We're not really looking to breed really large dogs, nor are we breeding towards a particular color. We are looking to breed working quality dogs for guard and personal protection, with athletic ability, quality health, and solid temperament.

Marino's Luca Brasi

Our goal as far as overall size for a male dog is between 125 and 140 pounds. For our female dogs, we are looking for dogs between 85 and 110 pounds.

We like large, strong heads that resemble the old-school Neapolitan Mastiffs from the 1920's trough 1950's. We test very early for natural abilities in our puppies. cane corso marino luna marino
