The Corso Hoax – Scandifio’s Cane Corso Review – Paper Hanging and Deceptive Dog Breeding

The following is an archive of information from my research into the Cane Corso. There is much controversy surrounding these dogs, particularly in the true origins of the American Corso bloodlines. If you are interested in the true history of the Cane Corso, then you came to the right place! Feel free to enjoy and share this information that I have gathered over the last several years.

Tony Scandy of Scandifio's Cane Corsos is knowingly selling mixed-breed dogs as pure Cane Corsos. Tony Scandy has deceived his customers into thinking they have pure dogs, when in fact they often have Neapolitan Mastiff, Rottweiler, and Pitbull Terrier mixed in. The following shows this to be the case through DNA testing, eye witness testimony, and Tony's own words.

I will forever regret ever getting involved with Tony Scandy of Scandifio's Cane Corso. In the first audio podcast I show where Tony blatentely lies to me concerning the purity of Solo, son of Armani. I currently have two straws of Solo's frozen seamen stored at my vets office, along with one straw of Scandifio's Ch. Nino II - another dog that was more than likely a mixed breed dog. I am sending off both dog's frozen seamen to a lab for DNA testing.

The second audio podcast is an interview I had with Wilam Wisner, founder of the Traditional Cane Corso Registry, who offers more information concerning the deceptive Cane Corso breeding practices of Tony Scandy of Scandifio's Cane Corsos. In this interview, Wilam says that Ed Hodas personally admitted to him that paper hanging and Rottweiler mixing had gone on within the Mike Sottile circle of breeders and bloodlines.

The following is an interview of Mike Sottile Jr. admitting that his father mixed Neo, and also hung papers.

The following interview is with a Mr. John Ketchum. John claims that he was a witness to the Sottile scam back in the day, and heard from Mike's own mouth that they had an accidental breeding. This accidental breeding went on to become the "Super Six."

Tony has been well aware that Armani was part Rottweiler, and has deceived the Cane Corso community, and his customers for many, many years.

Anthony Jr with Armani. Armani was part Rottweiler, NOT a pure Corso

In this video I show that Tony Scandy of Scandifio's Cane Corsos admits on a FaceBook group that he has full knowledge that Mike Sottlie mixed Rottweiler into his dogs. This helps put an end to what has been a thirty year argument within the Corso community here in America. Tony Scandy of Scandifio's Cane Corso has deceived his customers for many years by knowingly selling dogs that are not pure.

Here are the captures of the text conversation between Tony Scandy and myself. As you see, he blatentely lies to me concerning the purity of Solo, son of Armani. How many other dogs has Tony hung papers on? We may never know. How many people have purchased Cane Corsos from Scandifio's Cane Corso thinking they had pure dogs? We many never know.
