There is no truth in combat here. This is dead routine training.

While you can watch over 100 videos of dogs biting sacks and sleeves on Lee's YouTube channel, you will be hard pressed to find any videos that demonstrate the off switch. Here is a REAL protection dog that I trained.

Many people in the "protection" dog world will gladly take your money! American Sentinel K9 LLC is no exception. In this post, I cover examples of the fake protection training by Lee Robinson and his bandogs. So many people see these tug games on YouTube and mistakenly think the tug game is actually protection work. Notice how the dog is fixated on the sleeve and could care less about the bad guy! This is known as a sleeve junkie. This dog is in prey drive, a chase and apprehension drive not defense drive, the stand and defend drive. This is the typical YouTube land tug game. Not only that, but this dog is developeping the bad habit of pulling. This dog will pull its owner into a bite. This will literally drag them into court!

Here is an example of Lee's dogs getting killed if this were a real protection situation. Notice how Lee has NO control over this dog, and the bad guy pets the dog on the head! This is FAKE protection training.

the similarities between what we just watched in the video clip above and this video of sport training  are sadly striking.

It is NOT a violation of copyright law to post this public YouTube video for editorial and educational purposes. Unfortunately, real protection isn't a sport show.... There isn't any truth in combat going on here! Also, while these gamebred pit bulls make fine hog dogs, you may want to think twice about having these fighting dogs around small children: "Pitbulls are responsible for some 60% of all injuries and 63% of ocular injuries. Pitbull attacks have higher morbidity rates, higher hospital charges, and a higher risk of death than attacks by other breeds. From 2005-2017, pit bulls killed one citizen every 16.7 days, totaling up to 284 Americans." Based on common sense and the data, game Pitbulls are not necessarily the best choice in breed, nor breeding, in my opinion.  These dogs are high-strung and have been known to be unconscious of their surroundings,  including bumping into small children.      Here is an example of a serious dog doing serious protection training:
